Building Process

Eigenlijk was dit een vrij eenvoudig model om te bouwen. Hoewel er een paar uitdagingen waren om het allemaal passend en netjes te krijgen heb ik toch echt wel genoten van het bouwen. Eén van de uitdagingen was het chassis. In eerste instantie had ik het meegeleverde resin chassis gebruikt maar uiteindelijk toch besloten om alleen het voorst stuk te gebruiken en voor de rest een Italeri chassis te gebruiken. Dit had er vooral mee te maken dan het resin chassis niet recht was.

De rest was goed genoeg en na wat extra dingetjes zoals een slangenrek, opstap en een gereedschap kist konden we beginnen met alles te verven.

Het model voorzien van wat Italeri accessoires zoals een staande uitlaat en luchthorens op het dak en een setje extra lampen onder de bumper.

De spiegels komen ook uit de Italeri accessoire doos omdat ik de spiegels die bij de kit zaten niet goed genoeg vond.

This was actually a fairly simple model to build.

Although there were a few challenges getting everything to fit neatly, I really enjoyed building it. One of the challenges was the chassis. Initially, I used the included resin chassis, but ultimately decided to use only the front section and an Italeri chassis for the rest. This was mainly due to the resin chassis not being straight.

The rest was good enough, and after adding a few extras like a hose rack, a step, and a toolbox, we could start painting everything.

The model was fitted with some Italeri accessories, such as a vertical exhaust and air horns on the roof, and a set of extra lights under the bumper.

The mirrors also came from the Italeri accessory box because I didn't think the mirrors that came with the kit were good enough.
